What Exactly is Gout?
Uric acid is a metabolic end or by-product from the digestion of purine-rich foods, with especially high concentrations existing in red meat, alcohol, liver, brain, and several kinds of seafood. The uric acid crystallizes after several months or years of accumulation in the synovial fluid sacks and cartilage. Attacked joints become red, swollen, painful, hot and inflamed.
With this slow buildup of uric acid in the joints—ankle, heel, instep, knee, wrist, elbow, fingers, hand, and even spine, habitually beginning in the big toe—gout can attack one of these at any one time. Gout affects various people from various locations around the world annually. Billions of dollars have been spent trying to treat gout attacks the world over.
If you are a gout sufferer, you are not alone as more than 2 million people endure gout annually in the United States. If you are a man in your 40s or 50s (chances are lower for women) with a high proliferation of uric acid that is not properly broken down, minute purines can crystallize in your joints causing a gout attack. If not treated properly, this crystallization abundance could lead to subsequent and serious health complications later. The most effective way to manage gout is with diet -

What is Gout Care?
Gout Care (a.k.a. GCâ) is an herbal blend of organic pharmaceutical grade ingredients, extracted from natural elements and blended together in a 12 step extraction and mixing process and then formed into a capsule or pill. Used after gout has set in, Gout Care contributes to the body’s natural uric acid removal and helps prevent future build up. After some time, the company alleges that Gout Care patients can continue eating foods high in purines again (*see side effects below).
Gout Care does not rid the body of uric acid levels per se, but helps improve the body’s normal operating systems in naturally expelling it. Taking anywhere from two to five days, Gout Care’s relief is contingent on the intensity of the gout attack. Moreover, depending on the gout sufferer’s overall well being and general health, Gout Care may work faster or slower, once conditions of recent antibiotic usage, kidney operation, liver function and water consumption are taken into account. Gout Care works differently for different individuals, but is primarily taken to stop reoccurring gout attacks.

How Does Gout Care Work?
Gout Care is used as a natural supplement to stimulate the body’s customary capability to fight various infections. In so doing, Gout Care controls the possibility of over-production of uric acid so as to ward off the chances of future gout attacks. Gout Care essentially keeps uric acid soluble, keeping it from forming into the painful crystals, so it’s easier to expel naturally through the urine.
Gout Care claims not to simply cover up the symptoms of gout, but augment the body’s natural detoxification processes in an attempt to prevent future attacks. The herbal blend making up Gout Care claims to enhance blood purification, stimulate new liver cell growth, protect the liver from toxins, increase bile production, and stimulate digestive and immune systems, while increasing kidney filtration and excretion. The mixture of herbs in Gout Care, then, metabolize the rich purine based foods which cause inflammation, keeping them in a soluble form and impede future joint crystallization deposits. Moreover, the herbal blends can lower LDL Cholesterol and raise HDL Cholesterol, the former considered “bad” with the latter branded “good” cholesterol.
The herbal integration is organically grown, pharmaceutical ingredients. These include and are not limited to Artichoke powder, Milk Thistle, Yucca Stalk, Aged Low Odor Garlic and Turmeric Powder (a proven anti-inflammatory). However, the term “pharmaceutical” may be misleading, as any supplement that is “pharmaceutical” must pass FDA standards, thereby only prescribed by doctors and physicians. Gout Care is neither approved by the FDA (though the ingredients are not included on the FDA hazard’s list and are Generally Recognized as Safe and Effective [GRASE]) nor is a prescription needed for its purchase. Gout Care must be taken several times each day, every day.

What are Common Gout Care Side Effects?
Gout Care contends that there are no side effects to taking the product, and customer testimonials are far and few between. However, Smith Enterprises itself lists two possible complications with Gout Care:
Gout Care, as a matter of fact, may lower the insulin needs of type 2 diabetics. Gout Care, moreover, suggests that users closely monitor glucose levels and adjust insulin levels accordingly, with possible improvement of liver function. If a diabetic has known his or her mandatory insulin needs for several years, though, the last complications he or she needs is re-regulation, with possible insulin under- or over-dosage. Gout Care claims to only improve communication between the liver and pancreas, but given the chances of the opposite, it may be necessary to evaluate the risks inherently involved.
Gout Care, additionally, claims to “…suppress the natural steroidal hormones produced by the adrenal glands.” Moreover, it may take some time for the adrenal glands to start producing the body’s necessary hormones because their product claims that the adrenal glands will “need a bit of time to ‘wake up.’” Any chance of disrupting any of the body’s natural hormone producing capabilities may be a fair warning for further research before consuming any supplemental product.
Gout Care claims that a normal diet may be started after feeling better. However, the company lists foods that should be eaten with “…these foods [included] into your daily diet even after attack/build up has subsided.” It doesn’t seem that a normal diet is a normal diet but is, in truth, a new diet altogether. You must also drink 96oz of non-chlorinated, distilled water daily.

What is Gout Care Dosage and Cost?
Depending on the severity of your gout attacks, and your own body mass, you must take different amounts of Gout Care. The normal recommended dosage is one capsule after each meal and then one more capsule before going to bed; so, the daily minimum dosage is four capsules. To remain gout free, gout sufferers must take the supplement every day.
Each bottle contains 90 pills at 500 mg each. The bottles cost less depending on how many you order at once. The average price per bottle ranges from $25 USD to $50 USD. The annual cost of taking Gout Care may vary depending on your size and weight and number of gout attacks suffered, which can cost anywhere from $200 USD to over $1000
